I followed my mother's footsteps into alcohol addiction. Alcohol was a way for me to hide from the truth. Have you heard the saying 'truth hurts'? Sometimes I does and I didn't want to live in the discomfort. So I would numb and hide. I asked God into my dark places and He restored the truth of His love, power and support in me.
